MARCH 2018 Events Time & Location Details
Sun. Mar. 11 Members' Brunch 11am Skyhawk Restaurant, Boundary Bay Airport The first of three Members' Brunches as casual opportunities for members and their families to get together. The goal of these is ‘social’ and fun for everyone. No drive is planned and no pre-registration is required, so participants can simply show up at the restaurant, with or without their MG or Jaguar, and enjoy the company of other members. The inaugural Brunch is at 11 am on Sunday, March 11 at the Boundary Bay Airport’s Skyhawk Restaurant at 7800 Alpha Way, Delta. Free parking directly in front of the building.

Sat. Mar. 24 Spring Run & Brunch Meet at Starbucks, 1988 United Blvd, Coquitlam, 9:30am driving to Dickens Sweets, Chilliwack This is the first club driving event of the year, so plan to get those MGs and Jaguars out of the garage and on the road. Organized by Chris Down and Ruth Schmidt. The drive will take just over 2 hours, though Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge to Chilliwack, with lunch at Dickens Sweets and British Museum. Since the Dickens Tea Room bakes all the menu items, they would like an idea of what people might like to order. Sponsored by the MG Car Club NW Centre (Seattle). Check-in begins at 8:00am. Drivers meeting at 9:30am. Cars out at 9:45am.

May 19 VanDusen ABFM VanDusen Park, Vancouver, BC Dubbed as The Greatest Show on British Wheels, the Vancouver All British Field Meet (ABFM) will host more than 500 classic British-built vehicles and motorcycles on the Great Lawn of the world renowned VanDusen Botanical Garden, while celebrating yet another year. Sun. May 20 Vancouver All British Whistler Run Depart 9-10:30am at will, from Park Royal South Mall, West Vancouver, BC As the final part of the VanDusen ABFM, drive the scenic Sea-to-Sky Highway from West Vancouver to the resort Town of Whistler. Maximum number of 120 cars will be displayed in the rejuvenated Whistler Creekside Village plaza, site of the first Whistler gondola. The fun day includes awards and prizes..
